The new KASTOssb
Compact performance for demanding materials
The new KASTOssb vertical bandsaw combines high cutting performance, flexibility and a particularly compact design. It is especially suited to nickel alloys and other difficult-to-cut materials, while the new machine layout helps save valuable production space. The electromechanical saw feed also reduces unnecessary hydraulic operation, lowering energy consumption and noise.
- Carbide-capable for demanding materials
- Cuts diameters up to 260 mm
- Compact footprint with flexible chip conveyor positioning
The new generation of KASTO ProControl
Making everyday sawing easier
The new KASTO ProControl generation is designed to make daily sawing more intuitive, transparent and efficient. A clearly structured dashboard gives operators an immediate overview of the machine, while Simple Mode provides straightforward guidance for less experienced users. Integrated production and diagnostic functions also help optimise cutting and reduce downtime.
- Simple Mode for guided machine operation
- Material library, cutting plans and cutting optimisation
- Diagnostics and analysis functions to identify faults faster
Compact automation for a connected material flow
The KASTOcenter compact combines automated tower storage, robot-assisted material handling, sawing and optional downstream processing in one compact system. It creates a continuous material flow from raw-material storage and automatic saw feeding through cutting to further processing and order picking.
Thanks to its modular concept, the solution can be adapted to different production requirements – from individual automated process steps to a fully connected manufacturing system. The result is less manual handling, higher machine utilisation and greater productivity in a compact footprint.
