Automated sawing processes with a high degree of scalability
The KASTOssb FC 2.6 combines the high-performance sawing technology of the KASTOssb AC 2.6 with a higher level of automation. An automated material infeed as well as automated infeed and outfeed peripherals ensure a continuous material flow and reduce manual intervention around the sawing process. At the same time, the system remains compact and can be flexibly adapted to different production requirements.
Energy efficiency, ease of operation and process reliability are also key priorities for the FC version. The electromechanical saw feed only consumes power when sawing is actually taking place, while KASTO ProControl, with its dashboard, material library, cutting plan and intelligent cutting optimisation, ensures transparency and efficient processes. The vibration-damping mineral-cast upper section ensures smooth operation when sawing solid material, tubes, profiles and bundles. Carbide-tipped saw blades are also part of the machine's range of applications.

Expandable step by step up to a fully automated solution
The KASTOssb FC 2.6 is designed as an economical automation platform that can grow with production requirements. In addition to automated material infeed and outfeed, the system can be expanded with robot-assisted cut-piece handling with KASTOsort. Cut pieces can therefore be automatically picked up and sorted. Integration with storage systems is also possible. This creates a continuous material flow solution step by step, from raw material through to the finished cut piece.
From bandsaw machine to automated sawing centre
For an even higher level of automation, the KASTOssb FC 2.6 can be integrated into the KASTOcenter compact. The modular sawing centre combines storage, robot-assisted infeed and outfeed, sawing and downstream processing steps into one continuous process. This enables automated and flexibly configurable processes, including 24/7 operation, with minimal space requirements.
