Powerful sawing performance with minimal space requirements
The KASTOssb AC 2.6 combines proven high-performance sawing technology with modern drive and control technology while requiring very little floor space. The electromechanical saw feed operates quietly and with high energy efficiency, while the intuitive KASTO ProControl system provides a high level of transparency throughout the sawing process.
Thanks to its robust design, vibration-damping mineral-cast upper section and versatile range of applications, the bandsaw is ideally suited to demanding sawing tasks involving solid material, tubes and profiles. Bundle cuts can also be carried out reliably and productively. For difficult-to-machine materials, the KASTOssb AC 2.6 is also designed for use with carbide-tipped saw blades.
The compact design allows for space-saving installation, even where production space is limited. At the same time, numerous design optimisations facilitate access to components requiring maintenance and ensure that the machine is significantly easier to service. These include, amongst other things, the hinged rear flap, which simplifies maintenance work in confined spaces. The chip conveyor is positioned on the left as standard and can optionally be fitted on the right-hand side of the machine.

KASTOssb FC 2.6 for a higher level of automation
For automated material flows, the KASTOssb FC 2.6 is available as an enhanced version. It combines the powerful sawing technology of the KASTOssb with automated infeed and outfeed peripherals. A free-standing or swivelling control panel also provides additional flexibility when configuring the system layout. The FC version can also be expanded to include robotic cut-piece handling with KASTOsort as well as integration with storage systems. This makes it a scalable platform for companies looking to automate their sawing processes step by step or in full.
