Straight and mitre cut optimisation
KASTOoptisaw supports the production with powerful algorithms: Iteratively, different, possible cut-off arrangements are successively changed and also combined with each other to continuously work out a better solution. The optimisation tool is fully integrated into the WMS KASTOlogic.
Various optimisation goals and boundary conditions such as low waste quantity or as little material movement as possible can be taken into account.

- Mitre cuts with material symmetry: optimisation by rotating, turning and folding the sections as well as alternate angles
- Consideration of machine parameters such as minimum residual length, etc.
- Configurable calculation time (usually 10 - 20 sec.)
- Configurable weighting of the goals: Low scrap amounts vs. preferred use of short bars, lower time requirement (KASTOcenter)
